A while ago I managed to purchase a CD from a band called Imagine Dragons based on hearing the song constantly played on the radio and from a twitter recommendation from a radio DJ. It’s because of this that my love for Imagine Dragons began.The Las Vegas based alternative four piece rock band released their first major label debut on September 4th. With lead single “It’s Time” already gaining steam and popularity in the major charts the band was able to sell over 83,000 copies in its first week of release. “It’s Time” has a great beat , great guitar work, and great vocals that makes it an easy fan favorite.The second single released from this album is the lead track “Radioactive”. This track gives us an “arena-rock” feel. Again, awesome beats, easy to follow lyrics, We are most certainly listening to the “New Age” of music with this post-apocalyptic rock song.With other stand out tracks “Tiptoe”, “Amsterdam” and “Bleeding Out” you can see that the future is bright for this band with its vast musical talent.Take a look at the videos below, and you can see why I give this album a 4.5/5.http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sENM2wA_FTghttp://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ktvTqknDobU
