by: @MisterJackalHoly shit! It's been quite a while but it's only right to make a written comeback with the latest album from the rock legend, Dee Snider. This album is a huge because it isn't just a solo rock album, it's a bad ass metal album produced by one of my all-time favorite people in the world Jamey Jasta (lead singer of Hatebreed and host of The Jasta Show). The album is titled For The Love Of Metal, and it is far from a disappointed and shows so much love to what lots of people would call a dead genre.What can I say... Snider has such a powerful voice that fits extremely well with dope blast beats, and memorable fucking riffs. This album is something that will definitely have your head banging from beginning to end.The album starts with "Lies Are A Business" and has some of the baddest openings I've heard in a long while. Once you hear Dee singing "Bring me to the gates of hell cause there's a debt to pay", you know he means business! Then it's followed by a great chorus, an amazing solo that will give you goosebumps by a pit worthy breakdown. Shit! That's the first track! DAMN DEE!!!The next song was the first single "Tomorrow's No Concern". The song that pretty much had me sold that this album was a classic in the making. "I gave you yesterday, tomorrow is no concern. I gave you yesterday, you can keep it because today is mine". Such a great fucking track! There is nothing that can be said other than that this is the perfect track that can be played on the radio, that can bring old Twisted Sister fans and new fans together, fist in the air, heads banging and will have everyone singing along when the chorus hits.I'm not just going to sit here and review every single track. Come on now... Other than having a super bad ass album there are a couple of guest features that are pretty amazing. The first guest feature was from Devil You Know / Light the Torch front-man, Howard Jones, on "The Hardest Way" which is quite an amazing. Jones' voice on the chorus fits perfectly with the song and Snider's delivery is killer. "Step forward into the blinding light if you dare look back its your last time". Then there's the power ballad duet with Alissa White-Gluz (Arch Enemy) titled "Dead Hearts" and its all about bullying, loving your enemies, and not letting shitty people get to you. "We all hear what they say, as hard as it can be we love thy enemy".I must say I have been listening to this non-stop since I got it! It's probably the best albums I've listened to this year. Honestly, I want more metal from Dee Snider! It's a fantastic album from beginning to end.
