CBS release a preview of Elementary, a modern day telling of Arthur Conan Doyle's Sherlock Holmes in New York City, starring Jonny Lee Millar in the title role and Lucy Liu as Joan Watson, set to hit television screens this fall.[youtube http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yrDVSxNycKc]Jesse Plemons (Friday Night Lights) has been cast in a major recurring role on the final season of AMC's Breaking Bad.There have been a few changed to next falls TV programming schedules. Supernatural will be moved to Wednesday nights and will air after Arrow on the CW. The Big Bang Theory and Two and a Half Men will now air on Thursday nights on CBS. And on NBC, Whitney and Community have been moved to Friday nights.ComicsI have a bunch of comics this week but I haven't read any yet (Yeah, I know I'm slacking, smh). Video GamesThis week, we were hit with a few new and very anticipated releases. Bring the Payne! (I couldn't help it) Rockstar Games bring us the Max Payne 3, the latest installment in the Max Payne series which takes place eight years after the events of the part two. At the moment, its only out on PS3 and Xbox 360 and May 29th on PC. Also this week, Diablo III, a dark fantasy/horror action role playing game by Blizzard Entertainment and it out on PC and Mac, sucks for the console gamers. Game of Thrones: The Game is also out this week, an RPG based on the George R. R. Martin novels and the HBO series.MoviesScreenwriter Scott Z. Burns as been hired to rewrite the script for the sequel to Rise of the Planet of the Apes .James Badge Dale (The Departed) has been casted to play Eric Savin in Iron Man 3.Director Ridley Scott revealed that the Blade Runner sequel will have a female lead and Hampton Fancher, who co-wrote the original, may be involved.To close this weeks geek news, Columbia Pictures premiered a four minute "super preview" for The Amazing Spider-Man, which got me even more excited that the preview I saw during The Avengers!
