by: Charley (@ruperto2106)If you had any hesitations about what the first volume of Five Finger Death Punch’s new double album would sound like, or if it was worth buying, I am here to tell you, to stop what you are doing, and get it now!Volume 1 of FFDP new album starts off with a track featuring the legendary Rob Halford of Judas Priest and ends with Hatebreed frontman, Jamey Jasta. So that’s pretty cool right? Wrong, it’s FREAKING AWESOME!!!Lead single and first track on this album “Lift Me Up” featuring the aforementioned Halford starts this amazing album with a loud and uproarious bang. If this track doesn't get your blood pumping and head banging, you’re freaking dead. The vocals of Ivan Moody and Halford shine through. It only makes me wish that these two would record a full album together. One of my favorite tracks on this album is “Burn MF” (I think we all know what the MF Stands for right?). The passion showing through in the lyrics, mixed in with the drumming of Jeremy Spencer, guitarist Jason Hook and bassist Chris Kale, mesh so well in this F-U anthem that it will also be a favorite of yours for years to come.“I.M.Sin” Featuring Max Cavalera (Sepultura and Cavalera Conspiracy) starts with a “Kick you in the teeth” drum and guitar riff. Moody’s brooding lyrical styling mixed with Cavalera’s growl breeds something truly special and magical.“Dot Your Eyes” featuring Jamey Jasta is nothing short of a FFDP classic!A hidden gem on this album is the fact that FFDP actually did a LL COOL J cover of “Momma Said Knock You Out”. This is one of a few covers where it exceeds the original. This track, featuring Tech N9ne is another favorite track of mine.If you haven’t picked up this 5 star album, stop wasting your time and get it now!I couldn't find the actual video for “Lift Me Up” so here’s the Lyric Video for you.http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=X-2yuGgp_U8
