Today, The Walt Disney Company acquired Lucasfilms for $4.05 billion in cash and stock! Along with this news they also announced that there will be a new Star Wars film due for 2015!http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wI51g129Ns0What does this mean?Besides announcing Episodes VII, VIII and IX, what's going to happen with The Clone Wars series on Cartoon Network, which is a direct competitor of Disney? Or what about the Star Wars comic line on Dark Horse, which is a competitor Marvel that was acquired by the mouse in 2009? Are these sequels going to go by the already existing story lines with Jaina Solo and Mara Jade or will they be brand new stories?I guess we are going to have to wait and see.Source: The Hollywood Reporter
